Netting for Citrus

The use of netting in citrus fruit is intended to avoid the presence of seeds in the fruit, caused by pollination between compatible species, carried out by bees. Protects trees from heavy winds, which provoke branch breakage, falling flowers and fruit.

13 mesh anti-hail netting or 17 mesh anti-insect netting is used, either covering the tree directly or in screen house-type structures.
